Thermal Transfer
The Thermal Transfer option allows the printer to use a ribbon for thermal imaging. The ink/wax from the ribbon transfers to the media to create an image with exceptional clarity on a variety of materials. Different ribbon and label/tag combinations can create highly durable labels and tags that can withstand extreme temperatures and physical abuse. The thermal transfer option is easily installed in the field by a low level technician.
Colors
The E-Class Mark II is available in two colors, warm white and cool grey, to blend into any environment and satisfy either preference for a dark or light colored printer.
Internal Ethernet
The internal Ethernet option allows the printer to be easily installed on a LAN, local area network, and be shared amongst many users. The printer is establishes communications through the network via a wired LAN cable.
Wireless Ethernet
The internal wireless Ethernet option allows the printer to be easily installed on a LAN, local area network, and be shared amongst many users without the need of a communications cable. The printer is establishes communications through the network via a wireless 802.11 b/g connection and can be mobilized by adding a powered cart or the external battery pack. The wireless Ethernet option includes the internal Ethernet option if the need arises.
Adjustable Media Sensor
The Adjustable Media Sensor option allows the printer to detect the position of the gap, notch, hole, or reflective mark at any locations across the media.
Real Time Clock
The real time clock option allows the application software to refer to the time maintained on the printer for printing date and time stamps on labels. This is very useful in applications needing to print the current date with a reliable system clock.
Standard Cutter (Guillotine)
This guillotine cutting device provides automatic cutting of tags and labels with a maximum thickness of .005” (.127 mm) so that they can be easily taken from the printer. This option is field installable and attaches to the front of the printer.
Present Sensors
The present sensor option allows the printer to be configured for in-pacing application where the printer is only printing a label as needed. With the sensor installed, the printer will not print the next label until the previous printed label has been removed from the printer. The sensor is available in two versions, a look-up and a look-down sensor. The selection is dependent on the media being printed and it having a white reflective surface matching where the sensor is located. The look-down sensor is located closer to the peeler and can sense smaller labels. Both sensors are field installable by a low-level technician.
Expanded Memory
Expanded memory is a factory installed option that is used for storing fonts, label formats, and graphics for fast recall and printing.
International Language Printing Capability (ILPC) Fonts
The International Language Print Capability consists of one of the following:
ACCESSORIES
External Large Roll Holder
The External Media Supply Stand allows the printer to use large media supply rolls, up to 8-inches in diameter and wound on 1” to 3” cores. The external stand allows for longer operational time before reloading labels or tags.
External Battery Pack
An external battery pack accessory is available to power the printer in areas where an AC receptacle is not available such as warehouses, shipping docks, vehicles, or mobile print stations. The battery pack accessory will allow the printer to operate up to 10 hours on a single charge.
External Rewinder
The external rewinder is used for rewinding labels onto a roll as they are printed. The rewinder is a standalone unit and is not controlled by the printer in any way. The rewinder is ideally used in applications where a large batch of labels are needed in another location. Rewinders are commonly used for serialized labels.
