Before using IDpack in the Cloud, your computer must meet the following minimum system requirements:

  • macOS Catalina and up
  • Android Pie and up
  • Chromebook

Modern Internet Browsers:

  • Google Chrome (recommended)
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Firefox
  • Safari

A fast Internet connection

    Since it is a cloud-based platform, you must always be connected to a fast Internet connection.

Additional recommended features:

  • Card printer: Evolis, Magicard, HID Global, Team NISCA, Entrust, Zebra Technologies, and other leading card printer manufacturers.
  • Webcam
  • Tripod for the webcam
  • Barcode reader with keyboard emulation
  • EasyScript Signature pad (from Scriptel)

    We do not provide support for installing devices such as printers, cameras, or barcode readers. To install such devices properly, please refer to the manufacturer's instructions. Furthermore, we do not support Operating Systems, browsers, or any external software.

What is a "modern browser"?

    A modern browser is any browser that will successfully display IDpack in the Cloud using the latest web standards. For example, a modern browser must support HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript, PDF, and SVG rendering. In addition, a modern web browser must show excellent performance as you navigate, like Firefox 78 and up, Microsoft Edge, Safari 13 and up, and all versions of Chrome. IDC recommends Google Chrome, available on all platforms (Windows, Android, Chromebook, and macOS). Moreover, it allows for standardization throughout the company and makes it easier to support.

    IDC will always try to use the maximum camera resolution depending on the plan.
